According to the telecom and media informa said the total amount of SMSs send is almost 19 billion per day using chatting apps and almost 17.6 billion per day using SMS text in 2012.
As we are growing in technology so the number of SMS sent using tradition SMS is less than chat apps instted in our mobile. The reason is obvious..COST.
"There is a lot of life still in SMS", said by Clark-Diskson of informa.
She explained that most of the chat and message is done by the people who has Smartphones However, there are a lots of emerging and lesser developed people who rely on normal mobile and preffered messaging tools.
In today's market there are lots of messaging apps are present like whatsapp, Viber, Chaton, Ebuddy. By which you dont have to spent any money for Limited SMS pack service.
