Xiaomi Banned in India. Kisne kisne kharida? Comment karo jaldi.

The Chinese mobile company Xiaomi which was boomed in Indian Market, is now banned in India after the order from Delhi High court. Xiaomi is in trouble with the lawsuit by Ericsson.

As per report : Delhi high court has put paid to Xiaomi's surging sales juggernaut in India. At least for now.

As per the report, the patents in the Xiaomi case may also be the same ones which are the subject matters of litigation Ericsson had put up against Micromax, Gionee and Intex.

It's worth pointing out that Delhi High Court had earlier asked homegrown handset maker Micromax to pay a royalty that amounts up to 1% of the selling price of its devices to Ericsson for using the Swedish equipment maker's patents on technologies that are essential to manufacture the products.

Ericsson has been fighting manufacturers to protect its SEPs in the Indian legal system, including a lawsuit against Micromax, Gionee, and Intext last year.

Google is Celebrating Carlos Finlay's 200th Birthday

Carlos Juan Finlay (December 3, 1833 – August 20, 1915) was a Cuban physician and scientist recognized as a pioneer in yellow fever research.

Carlos, Cuban epidemiologist who discovered that yellow fever is transmitted from infected to healthy humans by a mosquito. Although he published experimental evidence of this discovery in 1886, his ideas were ignored for 20 years. : From Wiki

A graduate of Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia (1855), he returned to Cuba, where he practiced medicine in Matanzas and Havana. In 1879 Finlay was appointed by the Cuban government to work with the North American commission studying the causes of yellow fever, and two years later he was chosen to attend the fifth International Sanitary Conference in Washington, D.C., as the Cuban delegate. At the conference, Finlay urged the study of yellow fever vectors, and soon afterward he stated that the carrier was the mosquito Culex fasciatus, now known as Aedes aegypti.

In 1900 the U.S. Army Yellow Fever Board, which was headed by the physician Walter Reed, arrived in Cuba, and Finlay attempted to persuade Reed of his mosquito-vector theory. Although skeptical, Reed decided to investigate the idea, refining Finlay’s experimental procedures in the process. Reed’s proof that mosquitoes do indeed transmit yellow fever (1900) and William Gorgas’ eradication of the disease in Cuba and Panama followed. Finlay was appointed chief sanitation officer of Cuba (1902–09), and after his death the Finlay Institute for Investigations in Tropical Medicine was created in his honour by the Cuban government. Nokia is Dead, Newkia is taking birth with android OS

The former CEO of Nokia - Thomas Zilliacus has decided to bring their new phone with Android OS, But as major news arrived this week that Microsoft would stop sending platform support payment to Nokia, and instead opted to buy the company outright, the dream of making Nokia Android smartphone is died. Thought it is Sad but a new hope is rising to Nokia's former CEO with the decision of making New Nokia mobile phone.

The CEO has a team of Nokia defectors and it aims to creates a new Nokia like company with the OS which is ruling the world now. Of course that nothing but Android. And the company name will be Newkia the combination of two words : New and Nokia.

The Fans of Nokia's Hardware and design will not has to loose their hope. Zilliacus, who served as the company's CEO for 15 years, he always wanted to make Android Smartphone with Nokia, but that was not possible.

“I strongly believe Nokia still has the best know-how in terms of mobile phones and we want to get the best people to join us,” he told ZDNet. All that’s missing is Android.

Newkia will target Asian market basically but hopefully it will be available in US market as well. They are targeting to launch their device within one year. 

"What Newkia wants to do is to use Nokia know-how, technology, and design to build the world’s best smartphones, but running on Android” - said CEO.
