Nokia is Dead, Newkia is taking birth with android OS

The former CEO of Nokia - Thomas Zilliacus has decided to bring their new phone with Android OS, But as major news arrived this week that Microsoft would stop sending platform support payment to Nokia, and instead opted to buy the company outright, the dream of making Nokia Android smartphone is died. Thought it is Sad but a new hope is rising to Nokia's former CEO with the decision of making New Nokia mobile phone. 

Nokia Android - Newkia 

The CEO has a team of Nokia defectors and it aims to creates a new Nokia like company with the OS which is ruling the world now. Of course that nothing but Android. And the company name will be Newkia the combination of two words : New and Nokia.

The Fans of Nokia's Hardware and design will not has to loose their hope. Zilliacus, who served as the company's CEO for 15 years, he always wanted to make Android Smartphone with Nokia, but that was not possible.

“I strongly believe Nokia still has the best know-how in terms of mobile phones and we want to get the best people to join us,” he told ZDNet. All that’s missing is Android.

Newkia will target Asian market basically but hopefully it will be available in US market as well. They are targeting to launch their device within one year. 

"What Newkia wants to do is to use Nokia know-how, technology, and design to build the world’s best smartphones, but running on Android” - said CEO.
