On the Last Friday Night Google was down just for 5 minutes and it really affected the World's net traffic. Generally we won't interested in a news when it is down just for 5 min. But when it is Google it is a big concern. Because it can cause the world's net traffic to be down up to 40 percent.
Yes, it is right. On Friday night 4:37pm - 4:48pm Pacific Time all the Google services were unavailable just for 5 minutes and peoples starts checking there connections instead they can think it has a problem with Google server. And it cause a 40 percent drop in net traffic.
According to the GoSquared (a web analyst firm), World's net traffic was drop for 40%. The graph you can see below.
